Six is sublime, a show not to be missed. Don’t lose your head if this show is anywhere near you, you MUST book! Matineé Dog gives this show almost the full FIVE stars, a massive 92 out of 100!

The most famous ex-wives around, this show takes you on an incredible journey through the eyes of Henry VIII’s wives. We were not sure what to expect from this show to begin with but trust us, it blew us away. Vocals as soft as velvet, comedy to make you belly laugh, choreography to die for and magical set and lighting designs that wow from the start. At just under 90 minutes with no interval this show really is impressive.

All SIX wives remain on stage for the entire show and the energy they have is catching, the entire audience was buzzing. True escapism and some fantastic historic storytelling. The band is also made up of four extremely talented ladies in waiting!

The between song banter between these ladies is also magnificent and just keeps you wanting more, we were very impressed with the way in which the Queens keep you thouroughly entertained for an entire full on 85 minutes.

All SIX Queens blew us away with their velvet tones, they hit every single note bang on, true professionals. There is phenomenal talent in this show. We note Caitlin Tipping’s outstanding solo “Heart of Stone” sang with such emotion, you made us cry! Shekinah McFarlane’s “Get Down” certainly made us smile the comical portrayal of Anna of Cleeves is just outstanding. We were equally blown away by the choreography and lighting in this show, simply stunning.
