Uniquely funny, timely and all round hillarious. We here at Matinée Dog don’t think we have laughed that much at a musical ever before. The Book of Mormon is returning to the Prince of Wales Theatre on Monday 12 July 2021.

Our Review
Matinée Dog gives this show an overall average of 89%. Having only seen the UK touring production of the Book of Mormon, we cannot comment on the West End Production but we are sure they are very similar in both scale, setting and both must pack that hugely hillarious score. You really will leave the theatre knowing you have had the best night ever, we were both crying with laughter at some parts of the show. Please remember though that this show is not politically correct and could cause offence to some.
The show has won numerous awards in both the US and the UK and you can see why. This wasn’t a show that we would usually book but we are glad we did. We really didn’t know what to expect, it is outrageously funny, our favourite muber by far was “turn it off” a choreographical masterpiece, we don’t want to spoil it but the tap sequence in this part of the show is phenomenal. Other hits like “I believe” are also magnificent.
You will not regret getting a ticket to this show, it has a little something for everyone. Just go in with an open mind and try not to be offended, its all light hearted fun afterall.
