The highly anticipated Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cinderella is almost here! The show will commence on Friday 25 June 2021 at the Gillian Lynne theatre. Matinée Dog are booked in for September and will be uploading a review as soon as we can so keep your eyes peeled for that. Carrie Hope Fletcher will be playing the lead and we cannot wait to see her, what a voice!
Cinderella is the exciting new musical comedy, set to completely reinvent the world’s best-loved fairytale when it opens in London’s West End in spring 2021. Featuring a brand new score by the legendary Andrew Lloyd Webber, lyrics by Oscar-nominated David Zippel, with a script from Killing Eve’s Emerald Fennell.
Three songs have currently been released “Bad Cinderella”, “Only you, lonely you” and “I know I have a heart” all of these give some inclination as to some of the storyline. We think the music released so far is beautiful. Matinée Dog think this will be a mega hit, let us know what you think in the comments below.

Sadly ALWs Cinderella has now closed, we are so happy we managed to see the show and devastated that we will not be able to return to Belleville! Who knows maybe one day it will make a come back!
